Gear For Heat and Distance
How to kit up for long runs in high temperatures — and why the DESERT collection exists.

Running in heat is a completely different challenge from cold-weather running. Your heart rate is higher, your hydration needs are greater, and the wrong kit can turn a good run into a survival exercise.
Why Fabric Choice Matters
We built the DESERT collection around UPF 30+ recycled polyester that reflects heat rather than absorbing it. Lightweight, loose enough to allow airflow, tight enough to stay out of the way.
The 8" inseam on the DESERT Shorts gives extra coverage for long desert runs where chafing is the enemy — an inner liner handles the rest.
For runs over 90 minutes in heat, pair the DESERT Long Sleeve (counter-intuitively — the long sleeve manages sweat and sun exposure better than a singlet) with the Hydration Belt.
