INSANE Running Ltd. is committed to making its website accessible to all users, including people with disabilities, in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law 5758-1998 (Amendment No. 5) and Israeli Standard IS 5568 (Web Content Accessibility), which is based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA.
We believe everyone deserves equal access to our products and content, regardless of ability or the technology they use to browse the web.
Our target conformance level is Israeli Standard IS 5568, Level AA.
We have completed an internal accessibility audit and are actively implementing fixes. The known non-conformances listed below are currently being addressed in our development roadmap.
The following areas do not yet fully meet IS 5568 Level AA. We are actively fixing them:
Checkout form label association (IS 5568 / WCAG 1.3.1 — Level A): Form labels are not yet programmatically linked to their inputs via htmlFor/id. Screen readers cannot announce the label for each field. Fix scheduled: Sprint 1.
Cart drawer and search panel dialog roles (WCAG 4.1.2 — Level A): These overlay panels are missing role="dialog", aria-modal, and focus management. Keyboard and screen reader users may not be able to navigate them correctly. Fix scheduled: Sprint 1.
Skip-to-content link (WCAG 2.4.1 — Level A): No skip navigation link exists. Keyboard users must tab through the entire navigation on every page before reaching main content. Fix scheduled: Sprint 1.
Form autocomplete attributes (WCAG 1.3.5 — Level AA): Checkout inputs are missing autocomplete tokens (e.g. given-name, email, cc-number). Fix scheduled: Sprint 2.
Reduced-motion support (WCAG 2.3.3 — Level AAA, best practice): Page transitions and scroll animations do not yet respond to the prefers-reduced-motion media query. Fix scheduled: Sprint 2.
RTL (right-to-left) language support for Hebrew, including correct dir attribute on the html element.
ARIA labels on all icon-only buttons (cart, search, close, menu, language switcher).
Keyboard-accessible navigation and focus-visible styles on interactive elements.
Semantic heading hierarchy on all content pages.
Alt text on product images drawn from product data.
aria-current="page" on the active navigation link.
404 page with keyboard-accessible recovery actions.
